Plantation L9GA Activities

  • Weekly League: Weekly league play for PL9GA members is scheduled at 1:00 PM on Tuesdays throughout the season  (November—April) unless so noted due to other club activity.

  • Coordinated Group Play: For members that wish to golf on a more frequent basis, group play is coordinated throughout the year by PL9GA members. A block of tee times is booked in advance and available to players on a first come, first serve basis.

  • Special Events: Tournaments and special events are coordinated by the PL9GA Special Events committee. At the beginning of the season a calendar of events is be posted in the ladies locker room and on the PL9GA website.

  • Recognition Program: Annual awards are given to members of the PL9GA for: most improved golfers, lowest ringer scores, most birdies, most chip-ins, and hole-in-ones. Eligible scores will be taken from PL9GA weekly league play.

  • Outside Invitationals & Summer Play Group: The PL9GA is a member of the Lee County Council of Ladies’ Nine Hole Golf Associations and, as such, offers its members the opportunity to participate in events hosted by outside clubs.

  • Group Play for Novice Golfers: The PL9GA coordinates a novice group for beginner golfers or golfers with a high handicap. This type of setting provides the opportunity for new players to interact with PL9GA members, obtain course play experience, increase confidence levels, and establish a handicap prior to venturing into league play. Please note, this activity is not intended as a substitute for golf lessons from a golf pro.
